# Running test on local device

#### Prerequisite

1. Make sure that you have installed Finalrun macOS. Follow the installation guide below

2. Make sure that your local device is booted and connected to the your machine. Make sure it is detected by Finalrun macOS.

#### Step by Step guide to run test on local device

1. Navigate to the **Tests** tab and click the **Run** button next to your desired test case.
2. In the dialog, click **Browse Apps**, select your application and the specific app version, then click **Confirm**.
3. Click the edit icon to **Select a Device**, choose a device from the available list, and click **Add device**.
4. Once configured, click **Confirm** to start the test execution.
